An incredibly deeply colored wine. Aromas of blackberry, red fruits, violet, and mint emerge at first, followed by hints of leather and game. In 1975, we planted the first block of Cabernet Sauvignon at Ciel du Cheval Vineyard. Generally, we sell the fruit from this planting to one of our long-time customers. But, in 2014, we kept it for ourselves. It makes a stunning, robust wine. 

Aromas of leather, cedar and tobacco are followed by flavors of plum, black currant, cigar box and mocha. The wine fills the mouth persistent tannins that linger on the tip of the tongue. The finish is long and broad. 71 cases produced. 95 points Great Northwest Wine

Big, bold fruit flavors, balanced by complex oak components. A big and intense blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine was fermented in roller barrels to give it a round and full mouth-feel.
