In 1975, we planted the first block of Cabernet Sauvignon at Ciel du Cheval Vineyard. Generally, we sell the fruit from this planting to one of our long-time customers. But, in 2014, we kept it for ourselves. It makes a stunning, robust wine.
Aromas of leather, cedar and tobacco are followed by flavors of plum, black currant, cigar box and mocha. The wine fills the mouth persistent tannins that linger on the tip of the tongue. The finish is long and broad. 71 cases produced. 95 points Great Northwest Wine
